Awards

You may vote for any nominee in the awards in any category once only from any email address (ie if a supplier has been shortlisted for more than one award you may vote for them once in each category).  The email address must be legitimate - any email address 'bounce backs' will be disqualified.  Nominations open on the 1st July 2011 and close on the 31st August 2011.  Voting for semi-finalists opens on the 1st September 2011 and closes on the 30th September 2011 at 8pm.  Finalists will then be announced on the 1st October 2011 and voting for the winner will close at 11.59pm on the 14th October 2011.  Winners will be announced the the awards ceremony on the 27th November 2011.  Winners will be assessed on number of votes and nominations.  Where the votes are tied number of votes v's nominations and the content of nominations will also be considered. Votes will be independently verified by our sponsors and the judges decision is final.  The awards are aimed at giving recognition to small businesses within the wedding industry.  The aim is to provide a fun and positive awards ceremony congratulating & recognising many fabulous companies in the wedding industry.  Each Finalist will receive a complimentary ticket to the event to ensure their attendance on the day.  Awards will be handed to winners in person or to their representative at the ceremony.

Wedding Fayre - Free Prize Draw

Free Prize Draw prizes have no cash alternative and are not transferable, and may not be given, assigned or sold to another person.

Free Prize Draw winners will be informed by telephone/email if they are not present at the time the draw is called during the specific wedding fayre.

Ice the Cake do not accept liability for any prize supplied by a third party.  Each prize is subject to the individual terms set by the third party providing it.

Ice the Cake reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition the rules without notice or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Ice the Cake's control.

 

Wedding Fayre - VIP Entry Competition

VIP competition prizes have no cash alternative and are not transferable, and may not be given, assigned or sold to another person.

VIP competition winners will be informed upon arrival at the wedding fayre.

Ice the Cake do not accept liability for any prize supplied by a third party.

Ice the Cake reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition the rules without notice or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Ice the Cake's control.

All entries will close at midnight on the date before the particular wedding fayre or event, any entries received after the deadline specified will not be entered.

By entering the competition you confirm that you are happy for us to use photographs taken at the event for future publication & media purposes.

Licence to use website

Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.

Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Site and other medias such as brochure publication complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. We are not responsible for any such material or any error or inaccuracy contained in such material and any issues which you may have should be raised directly with the relevant advertiser.

Your submissions to our directory must relate to the Wedding Industry.

You must not submit to our directory incomplete websites, websites that are "under construction", mirror websites, websites that are identical or very similar to websites already in our directory, made-for-AdSense websites, or websites the content of which consists wholly or mainly of affiliate links. You must not submit the same website to our directory more than once (even if the URL is different).

Your directory submissions must comply with the "acceptable use" and "submissions" provisions below. You must keep your directory submissions up-to-date by notifying us of any changes via email: info@icethecake.co.uk Your submission will be individually reviewed within 48 hours following receipt.

Without prejudice to our other rights under these terms of use, we reserve the right to reject or delete submissions that in our reasonable opinion breach these terms of use or that do not in our reasonable opinion meet the additional guidelines for submissions published on our website. If we reject or delete a submission on either basis, we will not refund any applicable charges.

If we accept your submission then, it will remain published on our website for a period of one year, subject to termination or deletion in accordance with these terms of use.

We will not file a copy of these terms of use specifically in relation to each submission and, if we update these terms of use, the version to which you originally agreed will no longer be available on our website. The applicable submission charges will be as set out on our website from time to time. All submission charges stated on the website are stated. You must pay to us the submission charges in respect of a submission in advance, in cleared funds, via PayPal, Cheque or Bank Transfer. We may vary submission charges from time to time by posting new charges on our website. However, such variations will not affect submissions that have already been paid for.

We will refund to you such portion of your payment as we determine to be reasonable. Save as provided in this Section, you will not be entitled to any refund upon the discontinuance of our directory services.
